Not good news...
Devastated & heartbroken :(( Taffy has Osteosarcoma an aggressive bone cancer...we are meeting with the Oncologist tomorrow morning, but statistics show even with treatment the prognosis is only a year or less.
Our Taffy After His MRI. . .

MRI & 2nd Biopsy today at Advanced Veterinary Care...Looks like Cancer.
Taffy is currently undergoing an MRI & 2nd biopsy at Advanced Veterinary Care in Canton, MI. They believe this is bone cancer. The cost for the MRI & biopsy will be about $1,200, however, if this is cancer we will still need help with treatment (chemo, possible surgery, etc.)
Thank you so very much!

Our 'boy' Taffy...

Help Us Save Our Dog Taffy
Since over a month ago we have been desperately trying to find out what is causing a large, boney growth to form below our dog Taffy's left eye. Two different antibiotics failed to clear up the growth and a biopsy came back showing that it is not cancer, however, after getting a second opinion at the Animal Cancer & Imaging Center in Canton, Michigan, they feel it still could be cancer. They recommend we have a CT Scan done which will give them a great deal more information to go on to determine if this is cancer, what type of cancer it might be, and what can be done in regards for treatment.

The cost of this procedure will be anywhere from $1750-2000. If it does turn out to be cancer, then this amount would increase as we would need help with the cost of treatment (surgery, chemo, etc.)

If you are able to contribute, no matter how big or small we would be forever grateful!

Taffy is our 'boy'...he was rescued off the streets of Australia by my Aussie husband....every rib showing, abused, neglected...he deserves to live a full life filled with love. Thank you so much!
